The important bits

Allergies and intolerances

If you suffer from any food allergies or intolerances please let the team know. Liam and co can accommodate nearly all requirements and we will always ensure you have something great to eat.

Our white chocolate chip cookies in your room contain gluten, wheat, milk, egg and soya. The oat and raisin cookies contain gluten, egg, milk, oats and wheat. They may contain soya.

Bramley products

Lovely full size Bramley products are available in your rooms. This is much more environmentally friendly than smaller bottles and available for you to use during your stay. Please don’t remove them from your room or we do have to charge you for them, but they are available to purchase from the team if you can’t do without when you leave.

Check out

Please note, check-out time is 11am on the day of your departure, but do let us know if you’d like a later checkout and we will do our best to try and accommodate that (additional charges may apply).

Cycling

Cycling in the Stamford gives you a chance to truly experience all the great history and landscapes we have to offer. Ancient woodland and pretty villages are just some of the amazing things we have to offer cyclists. So hire one of the William Cecil Pashley bikes (£12 for the day), stock up with one of our hampers and spend the day exploring.

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome in our dog friendly pub and potting shed, we just ask that they are kept on their leads. There are plenty of great walks in the local area for you to enjoy and our reception team would be happy to provide suggestions.

Green is the new black

We are doing what we can to make ourselves as green as possible, but could do with your help. Please turn off lights and unplug chargers if you aren’t using them.

In case of an emergency

Please take a moment to read the fire procedures on the back of your bedroom door. In the unlikely event of an emergency, alarms will go off and we'll ask you to leave the building via the nearest exit.

Smoking

Smoking and vaping aren’t permitted anywhere in the building. Ashtrays are provided at the bottom of the kitchen garden. Please make sure cigarettes or cigars are extinguished properly.

Any extras

Please, don’t be too British, and do ask if there is anything else you need during your staff - whether it’s an iron and ironing board, or an extra pillow or two.
